Post #8. Somewhere in Batangas, Tagaytay and Makati.
IT’S A DATE: The 2013 Post-Valentine date.
Since Jonnie is going to start soon at his new job in Batangas, we need to look for a place for him to stay during the weekdays so as to save him from the incoveniences of driving to and fro from Taytay and Batangas. While we were waiting for my little sister’s bestfriend and her mom, we decided to explore the nearby Waltermart mall.
Someone’s busy playing the drums
We were able to check three possible houses. Finalization is on its way. After the house hunting, we went straight to Tagaytay to have our lunch at Buon Giorno.
Mimicking the iced tea mug
Good thing that we arrived at around 12 noon because by the time we were finished, many diners were waiting outside to be seated. Mind you that when we arrived, the place was already jam-packed.
My verdict for the restaurant are as follows:
Food: The food is good. But I still prefer Caruso. I love the giant iced tea 😄
Ambiance: Great view of the taal lake; Expect the cool Tagaytay breeze; Minimal noise can be expected among the guests as when we were there, a business meeting was being held at the table adjacent to ours; Great for hanging-out with your family, friends and colleagues; Ample parking space.
Customer Service: Satisfactory
After our lunch, we paid the Pink Sisters Convent a visit. By the way, you can buy fresh cheap lettuce outside the convent for Php 50/ 3 bundles of lettuce.
Before we head home, we dropped by at Greenbelt 1 to have Jonnie’s photo taken for his requirement purposes. And because of the long trip we had driving home (we took the Coastal Road route instead of the SLEX this time), we ended dining at Bonchon Chicken in Greenbelt.
Boxed meal A – Spicy chicken wings
Boxed meal H – Beef Bulgogi
A well-spent day with my Jonnie 😍😀😁
Till the next post! 😘
