WHAT’S ON THE MENU: Buffalo’s Wings N’ Things at Glorietta 5

My younger sister Jo-ann has been bugging me to dine here for as long as I can remember as she heard that this joint serves delicious food, particularly the buffalo wings. She just loves buffalo wings and I know how she misses the old Gram’s Diner’s version (FYI – The Gram’s Diner I am referring to is the one located around the Powerplant Mall vicinity in Makati. The restaurant closed because of the on-going condominium construction at its former site). Since I also heard from a colleague that the food is simply soo memorable, we decided on a fine weekday in March to spend dinner here.

My Notes:

  • The Quesadilla was ok but the Burger is definitely a winner in my opinion. Don’t let it’s size fool you. It might be “mini” but it’s jam-packed with flavor. I can’t wait to try the Blue Cheeseburger on my next visit.
  • The buffalo wings are really delicious and soo tender. But I am disappointed with the “spicy heat” level we chose. Since it was our first time to dine there, we thought the New York’s finest level would be ok. Sad to say, the level of spiciness is soo low. If you love spicy foods, I guess it’s safe to choose the  “Nuclear” or even “Armageddon” for your first time option.
  • This place can get pretty crowded during the night even on weekday nights as you can never beat what they can offer: Good Food that does not make your wallets cry.

Overall, a good place to dine and hang out with friends and enjoy the night view of the Ayala Center Makati.

Till the next post!
